"I didn’t feel like cooking today and I was browsing the web looking for something to eat and found Homely Food was just around the corner from m, so decided on walking in to order. Glad I did. I ordered lamb biryani and butter chicken, both very delicious and will be back to try a lot more of their menu. The guy running the place is friendly too. Since my first visit, I have returned and ordered a chicken madras and lamb biryani. Both exceptional again. I love madras and have tried many from lots of restaurants over decades and this madras is truly delicious. A lot of heart and soul goes into the food here. A little gem of a place:)"

"I recently ordered the Chicken Fry Piece Biryani Combo from Homely Foods, and I honestly had one of the most heartwarming customer service experiences ever. When my order arrived, I noticed that the chicken starter was missing. Mistakes can happen, so I didn’t think much of it — but what happened next truly impressed me. The restaurant personally called me to apologise and assured me they would deliver the missing chicken starter to my address themselves. To my surprise, a staff member actually booked an Uber at their own expense and came personally to deliver it. That level of responsibility and commitment is rare these days. It clearly shows how much they value their customers and their reputation. The food was delicious — flavourful biryani, perfectly cooked chicken — but what stood out the most was their integrity and care. "I've arrived into Homely Food on their opening day and I've got to say the food is fantastic. I had a Egg Dosa Crush... It was so tasty. The chutneys were so good... I highly recommend the ginger chutney. The sambhar was spot on. It looks like I'll be here all the time. Ribbleton has needed a place like this for years. All ingredients are made in-house. The decor is beautiful and bright and the staff are really friendly. From a future regular.... Many thanks. To anyone reading this, there is a small car park at the rear."
